Purchases new resources for a specific program area. Examples of which include: A White Board and 6 Tablets (iPads) for the Literacy Program, Spot Vital Signs Device (used by our staff nurse to monitor heart rate and blood pressure) for the Health & Wellness Program, Kitchen Utensils for the LEAP Program, Head Phones and a Smart TV for our Respite Program

Since 1998 Creating Alternatives has been committed to serving the needs of adults with developmental disabilities.

Independence

One of our goals is to create alternatives for adults with developmental disabilities so that independence and decision making skills can develop into opportunities.

Education

Creating Alternatives provides an environment that educates on life, social, and health skills that can improve the quality of life for our program participants.

Community

We offer volunteer, employment, and community connections to our program participants that can provide an equal work and life balance.

Transition

We assist in the transition into adulthood for a person with developmental disabilities in a family centered atmosphere with traditional values that encourage success, respect, and inclusion.
